The mission of ASI-NDSU scholarship is to provide financial assistance to  undergraduate students in India who have demonstrated high academic achievement  and proven financial need. The scholarship program is undertaken by a subcommittee  of the NDSU-ASI committee which includes ASI student members, ASI faculty advisor,  ASI executive committee and members of Fargo-Moorhead community.     The  subcommittee decided to initiate the project with the North South Foundation (NSF)  located in Burr Ridge, Illinois . The goals of NSF are very close to the objectives of  NDSU-ASI scholarship program. In addition, NSF has a wide range of outreach  initiatives through its working relationships with many voluntary organizations in  various states in India.
